Cancellation Policy

General Cancellation

  1. Free Cancellation: Guests can cancel for free up to [number of days] days before the check-in date. If the guest cancels within this period, they will receive a full refund of the booking price.
  2. Partial Refund: If the guest cancels less than [number of days] days but more than [number of days] days before the check-in date, they will receive a [percentage]% refund of the booking price.

Long-term Cancellation

If a reservation is for 28 nights or more, the following long-term cancellation policy applies:

  2. Following Months: If the guest cancels after the trip has started, the following month of the reservation is non-refundable. Subsequent months will be refunded.

Host Cancellation

If a host needs to cancel a confirmed reservation, the following policies apply:

  1. Penalty: The host may be subject to a penalty fee of [amount] for each confirmed reservation they cancel.
  2. Listing Ranking: The host’s listing may be negatively affected in search rankings.
  3. Calendar Blocking: The dates of the cancelled booking may be blocked on the host’s calendar, preventing them from accepting another booking for the same dates.

Extenuating Circumstances

In the event of extenuating circumstances, such as a natural disaster, death in the family, or serious illness, guests or hosts may be eligible for a full refund or penalty-free cancellation. Documentation may be required.
