Host Guarantee Policy

Protection Against Damages: As a host, you are protected against damages caused by guests up to a maximum amount of [amount]. This means that if a guest causes damage to your property or its contents during their stay, you can request compensation through our Host Guarantee program.


Claim Process: To make a claim, you must contact Medistay customer service within [number of days] of the guest’s checkout date or before the next guest checks in, whichever is earlier. You must provide a detailed description of the damage, along with any relevant evidence, such as photos or receipts for repairs.


Exclusions: Please note that the Host Guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, loss of income, or damages that are covered by your insurance. It also does not cover damages caused by pets, unless pets are explicitly allowed in your property and the damage is caused by a pet brought by the guest.


Security Deposits: The Host Guarantee is not a substitute for a security deposit. We strongly recommend that you require a security deposit for your property to cover minor damages or additional cleaning fees.


Cooperation with Investigations: If you make a claim, you are required to cooperate with any investigations carried out by Medistay or our insurance partners. This may include providing additional information or documentation, allowing access to your property for inspections, or participating in mediation or legal proceedings.
