Beautiful house in a quiet location situated within commutable distance of many local hospitals The house is located 20 minutes' walk from Winchester train station, 1-hour journey time to London Waterloo and is a 25-minute walk from the city centre, it is in a quiet location off the main road in a small close. It is within a 15-minute cycle to Winchester hospital, 30-minute drive to Southampton Hospital. Oxford, Salisbury, Frimley, Basingstoke, Poole and Bournemouth hospitals are all within 1hr 10minute drive. Winchester is a beautiful city with lots of character, great shops and numerous places to eat and go for drinks. It is very well connected to the surrounding area, with lots of outdoor space and easy access to the countryside. The house is comprised of a spacious downstairs living room with a sofa, 50" TV and dining table, a well equipped kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, and downstairs toilet. There are two fridges and a second freezer in the garage. Upstairs has two bedrooms and, well fitted, shared bathroom with bath and shower. The main bedroom is dual aspect, sunny, well furnished with an Ottoman king-sized bed, double wardrobe, two chests of drawers, desk and book case. We have a garage which is great for bike storage and will fit a small car. There is a south-facing garden which is lovely to spend time in when the weather permits. We would consider a well-behaved, small to medium sized dog. We are taking a year out to go travelling and our current lodger will also be living in the house. We have been living with Dani for the past 9 months and it has been great. She is a mature physio student who previously worked in HR. She is outgoing and great to live with, very clean and tidy with a mutual respect for the shared space. The room is available from 1st December 2023 for 12 months.
