Nornmanhurst Studio Wallington A sunny, delightful first floor self-contained studio in a period Victorian house 2 minute walk from mainline station. The property has been refurbished to a high specification to include a contemporary kitchen & bathroom with its own entrance, parking and view of the rear garden. Excellent location whether you are looking to be close to London or a tourist base. Short train journey to central London, 26 minutes to London Bridge, 39 to Blackfriars and 42 to Victoria. Wallington High Street and nearby Carshalton High Street, which is steeped in local heritage - both offer a good selection of shops, coffee bars and local pubs. The local areas has excellent parks including Beddington Park, a 58 hectares, originating in the 14th century. Carshalton ponds, the river Wandle with plenty of walks and cycle routes. If you enjoy walks in the countryside then Box Hill is a 30-minute drive or, 46 minutes by train. Box Hill is the perfect place to discover and explore the Surrey Hills, as part of the North Downs, Box Hill has amazing views across the surrounding countryside. Stunning walks, cycling and hiking. Also nearby is Headley Heath, Denbies Hillside, Polesden Lacey, Holmwood Common, Bookham Commons, Leith Hill, Reigate Hill and Gatton Park. Shops: Coming out of the house take a left down the road and right at the end, you have a Turkish supermarket on the right hand side bottom of the station approach and Sainsburys on the opposite side. If you continue up the high street we have Lidl, Tesco and a big Sainsburys. Chemists: Books, First Pharmacy and Superdrug.
